On Body’s Beauty

For some reason, a philosophical introduction always precedes the main part of my writing. Today, we are finally going to discuss the human body. It is a vast topic, so one article probably wouldn’t be enough.

So beauty (or no beauty) of the body, is undoubtedly given to us by inheritance, and we have to work with the already existing material. I am certain that the majority of us aren’t satisfied with what they see in the mirror. Some people claim to have a heavy bottom, some a heavy top, and some even believe that both parts are heavy. But as life has shown, the size of the buttocks has absolutely nothing to do with the success in their personal life. As well as the size of the chest, legs, and the size of the brain. Although, the owners of a larger amount of gray matter still have more chances to succeed, it’s only because they are able suppress any bad thoughts, for example, by going to the Lenin Library or put them into a peaceful state of mind, while defending a thesis.

And what remains for ordinary housewives, trend setters, party girls, or just idlers? Well, they’d have to spend ridiculous amounts of money to study all probable and improbable body treatments. And ultimately, they would come to the conclusion that all these treatments consist of an exclusively supportive nature and do not have the power to change their bodies visually in any sort of way. It is clear that if you are overweight, then first you need to choose the right meal plan for yourself. I’m not talking about going on a diet, but rather obtaining a nutrition plan. A diet is some kind of extreme and short-lived measure, but a great nutrition plan can serve you for life. Moreover, this plan is unique for each person! Some people can only live off kefir, while others would have a major intolerance towards the latter. For some, protein is the key component of their nutrition, while for others that would be grains and simple carbohydrates. Someone swells from bread, and someone else from meat. To understand what type you are, you simply need to try everything.

Therefore, if because of maintaining a right nutritious meal plan, you were able to lose weight, then surely an excess of skin would become visible on the body. To put the body in shape is even a more challenging task. I think that combining physical activity with massages as well as various other body treatments (e.g. body scrub), could cause beneficial results. Body scrubbing doesn’t work for everyone, but you can still try it. In fact, the scrub helps to remove water for a short time, which affects the reduction in centimeters around the waist and hips. Naturally, many resort to a simpler solution to the problem — they just stop eating. This is how the entire Hollywood exists! If that calms anyone down, then all the skinny actresses are simply victims of eating disorders, be it anorexia or bulimia (sometimes a mixture of both). Nobody really talks about this, they just admit it at some point in their memoirs or candid interviews with big magazines. Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Princess Diana, Paula Abdul, (almost) every member of the Spice Girls, and many others eventually confessed to their fans about dealing with such problems. So, if Angelina Jolie ever says that she has never suffered from an eating disorder, then we can certainly state that this is a lie.

Unfortunately, excessive thinness in the film, fashion and entertainment industries is regarded as the key to success. As soon as someone starts developing their career, they are asked to lose some weight, even if they already look skinny. We all are aware of the fact that a camera adds a few extra pounds, that’s why ideally it is better for a celebrity to be underweight. In my opinion, it is done on purpose so we can believe in their almightiness. Yet, at the end, famous individuals are just ordinary people, who regularly use the bathroom and have a weird smell coming out of their mouth in the morning.

Anyways, jumping back to the main topic, how can one improve the quality of their body? Let’s say, if you suffer from cellulite or have some stretch marks on your body. Let me say this right away — no cream could help you get rid of the stretch marks, merely laser treatments can somewhat diminish the appearance of the latter. A very powerful burn can even out the color and the depth of the stretch a little. And again, it is utterly impossible to control the formation of stretch marks, because this is a genetic predisposition of skin elasticity. Nevertheless, during the pregnancy, I rubbed pure elastin and collagen into my body in order to confirm my conclusions. Not a single stretch mark appeared, and the same thing happened with all my direct relatives. Neither my grandmother, nor my mother —who never rubbed anything like this and did not even know about the existence of such medications — got stretch marks on their bodies.

I am convinced that a beautiful body is, first and foremost, based on a discipline, unless you inherited all the right traits. Discipline is expressed both by maintaining a proper nutrition and doing physical movement regularly. If good food and exercise have become the norm, then a good body is guaranteed until old age.
