WHY ME?

  1. EDUCATION

As one of the few Russian speaking psychologists with an MA in Psychology from the United States, my professional perspective is unique. Living and studying in Los Angeles, California gives me access to ongoing education in the field of psychology and mentorship by world-leading educators. I Integrate these resources, along with my understanding of Russian culture, to better help Russian speaking clients.

  1. EXPERIENCE

I deeply believe that a psychologist has to be an experienced person. Becoming a psychologist was definitely a personal evolution in my own life, one that culminated in the pursuit of many paths and various outlooks throughout the world. I like to compare becoming a psychologist to that of a sommelier. It takes accumulated and varied experience to understand all the varieties of wine for a sommelier as it does for a psychologist to truly understand people.

  1. INTEGRATIVE APPROACH

What does the integrative approach mean? I work using all existing theoretical orientations, choosing the approach most suited for a client’s needs. This could be gestalt, behavioral therapy, psychodynamics, or dialectic. Carefully assessing a client’s circumstances, I create a unique treatment plan using research-based methodologies.

  1. I WORK WITH ALL CASES

My specialty is Marriage and Family Therapy. This includes a wide spectrum of therapeutic opportunities for individuals, couples, families with children, as well as individual therapy for children and teenagers. I am also not limited to who I work with diagnostically. I am a clinical psychologist that works with healthy persons who need some extra help, as well as persons who need support with clinical diagnoses.

  1. I LOVE WHAT I DO

I’m grateful to work as a psychologist because I love what I do. My primary mission is to help clients feel better by finding more confidence and greater happiness in life.
