Spirituality

Many individuals tend to pay great attention to spirituality these days. Life has become complicated. The global crisis is present, and everyone is aware about it. Simultaneously, despite the constant lack of time, people still dedicate some of it to spirituality. Someone wants to be called “spiritual”, someone does it to really work on themselves, and someone unconsciously, on a whim, follows a certain movement.

Spirituality in our time is a kind of mixture, which primarily consists of religion, rituals, and not fully studied yet appreciated practices. For instance, some are obsessed with cabala, while others are seeking mentors in India. Someone really found himself a confessor, or rather a psychotherapist (in my opinion, in the modern world, a confessor performs exactly this function) and scientifically got absorbed by his own spirituality.

Working with a confessor is definitely a beneficial act. I call this the first step on the path to healing. When coming to a confessor, a person “unloads” all the accumulated tension, due to which it is difficult for him to move on with his life. There are seldom cases when carefree, happy and undoubtful people come to a confessor. The confessor, as a rule, while having to take on all your burden, would like you to start working on yourself in return. And here everything depends on each individual — whether he would be able to reach a new level of spiritual development or not. It is possible that after working with a confessor for some time, the need for such a person would ultimately disappear. Or maybe not. And a person would feel stuck in one place by coming to his priest to confess, sharing what he is doing wrong, while the priest would be forgiving his sins. And then it would turn into an endless process. However, this is for people who do not want to change

anything in their life and want to leave everything as it is. And for some this might be the right option.

Nevertheless, someone still chooses to move forward. Furthermore, the priest — in fact, the guide — was then able to reach the heart and mind of a person as well as to bring him to a new level of development. Have you really worked on yourself, and such qualities as condemnation,   envy, anger are no longer within you? Congratulations, you are on the right track!

Although I am not a religious person and do not believe in Christ, I nevertheless admi — Faith in God is the first step in a person’s spiritual development. Just imagine how a rocket launches into space. The first compartment eventually burns up… However, it is impossible to start the journey without it. And then the second compartment is up next …

In spirituality, as in any other area, there must be some kind of development. Rituals are not enough. Compliance with the commandments too. Thus, it seems, the priest has taught you the most essential thing — to be honest with yourself. This is where the “awakening” of a person takes place.

An awakened person thinks and acts on a completely different level. Such a person automatically falls into a very rare pool of people who, first of all, are CALM. He is calm not because anyone triggered him to feel stressed today, or because he spent the whole day on the couch. No. He is calm because this peaceful sensation is his usual state of mind. An awakened person takes the path of enlightenment, and here a lot depends on his practice — what he prioritizes, what he strives for and how.

It is interesting that as soon as a person becomes 100 percent honest with himself, no priest is needed anymore. No guide, no guru. This is where the real transformation begins. A person no longer thinks in categories. He simply sends and receives vibrations. Does this sound

familiar??? Indeed, a vibration is like the category which allows you to think and live in a completely different quality, “dimension”, so to speak. Living consciously. I understand that it might sound boring and   abstruse. You might even object: “We all live consciously, why do you, Masha, think so poorly of us?!” Certainly you do. However, I mean something more in the concept of “awareness”.

By the way, let me pause for a moment and ask you a question: do you remember the time when you began to feel your awareness? How has your life changed? Can you divide it into “before” and “after”. Answer this question to yourself. Most likely, when answering, a lot would become clear.

An “awakened” woman would never be able to communicate with her man like an ordinary woman. She would not be able to deal with the ego of her man as well as to embrace the lower vibration frequency of her man. And then the man would have to reach her higher level or simply back off. And that’s okay. If a man takes this step one step up, their relationship would attain a qualitatively new level. The ability to walk together, not just side by side, but also “up the stairs”, can lead partners to the highest pleasure — practically nirvana.

People often ask me, what do I believe in? And why don’t I believe in God? Why am I an atheist? In fact, my son is probably right — I’m more of an agnostic than an atheist. Maybe for many it would be a surprise, but I grew up in a religious family, and I was religious until about 18.

What I mean is that my religion was inherited from my parents and grandmothers. I didn’t make this choice. This was the only way to live at the time. Orthodoxy. At the age of 19, I consciously adopted another religion (I prefer not to state which one) and practiced it. By the time I was 25, my practice with classical religions was over. I moved to  America, to the state of Mormons, where all my reflections on the topic of religion came to a logical conclusion. At this place, the religion in general ceased to exist for me. Nonetheless, this does not mean that I stopped believing. I always repeat and will not stop repeating that faith

and religion are two different things. I certainly respect all confessions and their representatives, but they have nothing to do with me personally. Also, I do not enter any discussions with strangers that involve the topic of religion.

Currently, I consider myself a Buddhist for I believe in myself. When I say that I believe in myself, it does not imply that I am omnipotent. It just means that I and I alone are responsible for my actions. For my words.

For my deeds. For my behavior. At the same time, I do not deny the presence of strong energetics, energies. And yes, fine, let’s call it God. This is what we do not know and will never know, what guides and dominates all of us. Something or someone that gives us light, rain, day, and night. All that is beyond our control.
